The great bite continues

CONDITIONS: The weather has been great. Some recent moisture helpful. Camp fires allowed in designated fire pit. All Park facilities are open.

WATER TEMPERATURE :  63            IN FLOW  123   CFS  OUT FLOW  135

TROUT: (Rainbow, Cuttbow, Cutthroat, Brown) EXCELLENT: The epic bite continues. Boaters on the troll kicking in high gear. Action fast and furious for all specie with sizes running 13 to 20 inches. Occasional lunker Brown. Many spoons and lures working with Tas Devils, Dick Nites and Arnies doing best. Shore anglers also doing well on typical baits.

KOKANEE SALMON: FAIR. Action is sporadic but consistent at that. Most anglers catching a few but no limits. Many large fish have been landed. Deeper water has been more productive. North Shore to Goose and Duck Island and Duck to Deer. Dodgers, Sling Blades with a needlefish or pink or orange squids. Apex in pink and orange also good.

NORTHERN PIKE: FAIR TO POOR: The little ones are catchable but the bigger fish are not biting. Try your luck but be prepared to work it hard.
