We have been having some internet technical difficulties and hope to have them fixed soon.
CONDITIONS: Witchers Cove boat ramp opens this weekend. The Hatch is not over just yet.
WATER FLOW: CFS IN CFS OUT WATER TEMP: 55
TROUT: EXCELLENT TO OUTSTANDING: Although the annual hatch is still happening but on the wane it hasn’t seemed to hamper the action like it often does. Water temperature is prime time. Lots and lots of fish being caught even by visitors from Arizona who knew nothing about fishing until they came to Eleven Mile to give it a try. Rainbows and Cutthroats running 14 to 19 inches. Trolling out performs other techniques this week. Needlefish, Kastmasters, Krocodiles and Tas Devils a sure bet. Color patterns can change frequently particularly in the afternoon. Lots of fish suspended 20 to 30 feet. North Shore to all points West. The East end is definitely weak compared to other areas of the lake.
SALMON: POOR: Looking for just one. One would be nice even a little one.
NORTHERN PIKE: FAIR: We told you. Power Bait is a good gamble considering its not typical Pike bait. But surely a 23 pounder makes you wonder. We saw an 11 pound one caught on a meal worm dangling off a bobber. Go figure.
HOURS: M-S 7:00AM – 7:00PM
FISHING HAS NO BOUNDARIES JUNE 30, 2012 at the Marina.
