Weekly Fishing Report 06.07.12

Now there's a big fish!

CONDITIONS:  Dry. Fire ban stage 1. Fires allowed in Park campsite fire pits. Please be careful with all camp fires.

WATER FLOW:         CFS  102  IN   90.1    CFS OUT     WATER TEMP: 56

TROUT: EXCELLENT TO OUTSTANDING: Boaters are doing way better than shore anglers. Night shore anglers fare much better than the day anglers. Trollers can’t get a minute to have a snack. Did I hear “get the net” again.  Lots of spoons and baits working. Needlefish, Dick Nites, Kastmasters and Tas Devils continue their great production. Color changes based on the time of day. Lots of fish suspended 15 to 25 feet deep. Lead core rigs, downriggers and cow bells all producing. We are talking serious catching. Mostly smaller fish but plenty quality bigger fish to be had.

SALMON: POOR: Looking for just one. One would be nice even a little one. Oh I heard some one caught one.

NORTHERN PIKE: FAIR: They are run a muck at Spinney but quite a bit harder to catch here. Work the coves from Howbert down to Witchers. Corral Cove to Rocky Flats. Pitch stick baits and big white tube jigs.

HOURS: M-S 7:00AM – 7:00PM

We will be installing a new modular for our store and office beginning today. Our current space is 12 x 36. Our new space will be 24 x 60. We hope to have it all done by the end of the month and have our old unit removed. In the mean time parking might be a little tight around our store.
