2010 Fishing Event
Who: Persons with disabilities, friends, family, guests and attendants
What: One day event PACKED with fun, fishing, boating and eating!
When: June 26, 2010 – 7:30am Registration
9:00am –1:00pm Fishing
Registration Deadline: June 12, 2010
Where: Eleven Mile Reservoir – Meet at 11 Mile Sports & Marina
Why: To open the world of fishing to people of all abilities!
Provided: Rods, reels, life vests, adaptive fishing equipment, bait,
fish cleaning, boats, pontoons, guides and lunch!!
Join us for a day of fun, fishing and camaraderie!
Cost: $35 for participants, $10 for guests, family and attendants.

COLORADO STATE PARKS: Colorado State Parks is updating its five year strategic plan and incorporates public meetings in the process. Meetings will be held around the State in March.

COLORADO SPRINGS MEETING: March 24 Clarion Hotel 314 W. Bijou St. 6:30PM – 8:30PM

NO NAME FISHING TOURNAMENT: May 15 -16, 2010. Fliers not yet available.

MARCH 6, 2010: 11 Mile Marina presents the most unique ice fishing contest anywhere. The final leg of the 2010 Colorado Classic Ice Fishing Tournament series combines basketball and ice fishing. All fishing is done in a designated area around the North Shore.  Weigh station is on the ice. A series of five one hour contests begins at 7:00AM. Cash prizes for first fish, 1st, 2nd, 3rd place by weight each hour. While weigh in occurs contestants socialize and shoot hoops at the Marina ice court. Make free throw and three point shots for prizes and bragging rights. It’s Fun! Call 719-748-0317 to register by phone.

$75.00 per team (two anglers) through March 1. $95.00 day of event.
