* All projected payouts are based on a field of 150 teams. Payouts may vary if less or more than 150 teams participate. Optional Big Fish Pot is 100% payout. 20% of the field will win cash. 60% of entry fees collected will be paid in CASH at the awards presentation immediately following weigh in. $3.00 dedicated from each entry to Final Grand Prize. Any contestants winning more than $1,200 combined must provide Social Security numbers and will receive IRS form 1099.
THE TOURNAMENT: There are three events that stand alone as individual contests. All contests are team events. A team consists of two anglers one of which must be at least 18 years of age. All Colorado fishing regulations apply. A State Park pass is required on all vehicles entering the Park. You can enter one, two or three contests. If you enter all three there is a points system for all participating teams with bonus cash and prizes for the top three teams in total points earned. 2013 NEWS: Unfortunately we lost our lead sponsor the Denver Sports Column that provided Avalanche and Nuggets tickets for the last few years. Our friend Mark Kinsey who managed the Sports Column has moved on and new management have taken other directions. We appreciate the years of support from the Denver Sports Column. With little time to negotiate with potential lead sponsors we hope to have a new one next year. Still plenty of prizes to win provided by our regular sponsors. This year welcomes McGinty’s from Divide, Ritas Place from Guffey and Tightline Outdoors as new participating sponsors.
This year we have provided a late entry for the Classic (all three). The cost is $200.00 if received from December 21 until the first event. Late entry WILL NOT receive 10 points. When it comes down to the final event 10 points can and has made a difference.
