The maps have GPS coordinates on them so you just can't miss. We want you to be successful here at the Mile. Get a map we will mark it up with the hot spots.

TROUT: GOOD: It’s hard to catch a fish below 16 inches. Many techniques and methods are succeeding from shore and boat. We really like jigging this time of year. Above fish pic caught right off the breakwater barrels. Last weeks pic also caught in Marina area. When we tell people who ask where are the fish? and we tell them right out back we are not joking. The North Shore Marina area has traditionally held lots of big fish especially in the Fall and Spring. Tas Devils on the troll. Lots of hardware working. Marabou and tube jigs hitting the mark. Scuds and Woolly Buggers bend the fly rod. Shore anglers need to stay close to their rigs. Night anglers getting cold but the action is hot. Salmon Peach Power bait and Night-crawlers/mallow from shore.

NORTHERN PIKE: VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT: October is one of the best months and that seems to be the case as action continues to be lots of fun. Most fish in the 24 to 33 inch range but the big ones are on the prowl. Big Sticks with orange bellies continue to be their favorite. Action has been found all around the lake. According to CPW this years gill net surveys showed more Northern’s than in previous years. Early, mid morning and early afternoon are good times. They like the tube jigs too. You might get bit f here and there but they’re cheap and work. We have caught large ones of you lip em.

SPECIAL NOTE: 11 Mile Marina is located at the North Shore in Eleven Mile State Park, Lake George Colorado. A CPW Park Pass is required on all vehicles entering the Park.  Any fees for Guide/Outfitter/Rental services do not include Park fees, CO fishing license or gratuities.

The WEEKLY FISHING Report is produced by fishermen for fishermen. We try to get it done every Thursday but some times fishing or life gets in the way. So if its not there on Thursday morning it will show up by Friday. We appreciate all the support and acknowledge that many of you won't miss a week but every now and then we might. Report takes a vacation in November. Fish On!
