SOUTH PARK ICE MASTERS 2023 PRO/AM

TOTAL TEAMS; 162 * Sell out is 150. MARINA MARCH MADNESS AND COLORADO CLASSIC RESULTS

TEAM PARTICIPATION: 132 Teams 73 Colorado Classic 49 Marina March Madness.

The weather was way better than the forecast and it was a very nice day overall. With bonus cash and bragging rights on the line points are critical for those entered in th Colorado Classic (all three events) For the Everyday Angler Division the people just in one or two of the three events are points spoilers since they earn none and take away from a CC entrant. In the Pro Division almost all of the participants are in the CC competition and the bonus cash is bigger for the Pro Division than it is for EDA Division. Historically the catching is usually better in the 1st set and gets more difficult by the 3rd. The Pro results show some of the biggest fish of the entire Winter contest series caught in set 1 and 2. The points to be won are significant and the format was designed to keep everyone in the game until the last event and indeed that was the case. Although this event did not sell out it was only 18 teams shy and in years past it is traditionally the one with the lower attendance. At 132 teams it was the most ever for Marina March Madness. For all three contests we gave away over $30,000.00!!!
