FOR FALL TROPHY SEASON HAS STARTED COME CATCH YOURS
TROUT: FAIR TO GOOD: Bite has been sporadic. Early action like sunrise to 9:30am followed by no action until mid afternoon. Everyday is different it seems. Be prepared to change up. Trolling action on a variety of baits. Brown Trout Tas Devil has been good. Tubes are doing well for bigger fish. But color patterns change don’t rely on just one color. Crawfish colors are good. Shore has been very good particularly at night. Night crawlers is what they want.
SALMON: POOR: One here one there and a few big four year olds but if time is money you would go broke fishing for Kokanee lately.
The river is full of spawning salmon. You can catch them but you can’t keep them. Fun no matter how you slice it. Egg patterns and San Juan worms are their favorite.
NORTHERN PIKE: GOOD TO VERY GOOD: Of course everyday is different but there have been some really hot days when everyone seems to be getting into the action. Mid morning to mid afternoon is good. All around the lake has seen activity. Make sure you work 9 to 12 feet of water. They have been very specific as to where they are hanging out. Firetiger has come on strong in Rapala, Kastmasters and other spoons with the same pattern. White Spinner Baits and a variety of tube jigs have also produced.
ROAD: GOOD: They have chip and sealed the road from Lake George to CR/92 then dirt for about 2 miles then chip and seal to the General Store. Apparently the story is the Contractor did the section closer to the lake when the contract was for Lake George to CR92. So the County apparently got an additional 4 miles or so done for free since the Contractor made a big mistake. We will take a better road no matter how it happens. Good for us, the County not the Contractor.

PIC # 1: Meant to post this a week or so ago. Steve tagged this 9.11lbs on 9.11 at Sundown on a 1st Gen CopperHead Bladed jig in Chartruese and white.
PIC # 2: Pike were biting this day and she was so excited to catch this nice one. Witchers Cove 10 feet of water.
PIC # 3: They came in we advised what to use and where to use it. We just happened to be fishing near them and got this action shot.
PIC # 4: AND this was the fish he was fighting off the back of that boat.
PIC # 5: We were trolling in 35 feet of water down 25 feet with a Black/Gold J9 Rapala when she got this one. Really? A carp ? on a Rapala? In his mouth…not snagged. It was a great fish fight and that’s what counts for fun.
PIC # 6: Don’t have to go far to catch big fish. North Shore/Marina
PIC # 7 & 8: The Mile!!!
