HAVE A GREAT MEMORIAL HOLIDAY WEEKEND. FISH ON!!!

RESERVATIONS FOR WATERCRAFT RENTAL FOR 2025 SEASON NOW OPEN: Even though the lake opens to boating April 15 we probably wont have all our equipment ready until mid May. Some will be ready by May 1 check online Booking for available boats.

PARK OPEN 24/7/365

CURRENT CONDITIONS: All Park campsites and facilities are open. Aspens are popping a couple weeks early. The annual hatch is in full swing. It can slow the bite up a little. No Fire Ban. CR 90/92 was redone last year. We are very disappointed in what Park County has done. If the road doesn’t get paved in the future it will be an ongoing headache. We know that the County has many miles of road and they fight with the State as to who should bare responsibility for traffic into the State Parks. But as far as we can see a good resolution has not been reached. This road is nothing short of shameful.

WATER FLOW: 67.6 CFS IN 58.8 CFS OUT

WATER TEMP: 49-51

ELEVEN MILE STATE PARK IS IN THE SOUTH PARK NATIONAL HERITAGE AREA

PIC # 5: Night time is the right time for fun catching. Pic. courtesy J. Bittleston

PIC # 6: “Here's a couple little guys we got north of witchers cove on a mother's day trip. We were running the little spoons you can see in one of the mouths of the trout in that double up photo. They're from juvi spoons on Instagram, he sent them to me and I love them. I was top lining one and the other with with a size 1 tadpole diver down about 15ft - 20ft and they were eating it up! 1.8mph - 2.1mph, we had easily 10 in about an hour. All not huge guys though but my daughter had a blast collecting them up. It was about 51° - 54° if I remember correctly over there. Hope this report is useful!” Pic courtesy C. Fuss

PIC # 7: Tas Devils kick it here and at Spinney. Featured hot lure of the week. We have a nice selection and for those that don’t like the bead/hook set up we also have the wire replacement hooks for 7 and 13 gram.

TROUT: GOOD: Action has picked up significantly for boaters on the troll. Lots of action on Cuttbows and Browns 15 to 24 inches. Lots of baits working. J11 and J9 BT Rapala, Pink Needlefish #2 and #1, CDY Kastmaster 3/8, Green Rainbow Cowbells/Crawler, Tasmanian Devils with pink, Thomas Bouyant G and a host of other things hopefully in your tackle box. Stop and pop some tube jigs in 20 feet of water or less. Buggers and Leach patterns on the fly rod working the coves. Fish being landed through out the lake. Pick your favorite spot and get to catching. Night anglers are having a field day with lots of great fish 18 to 22 inches being caught. And don’t forget to be there for Sundown. Always sure to please. Stop in for the up to the minute updates.

KOKANEE SALMON: FAIR: You have to work it but they are still being landed. Dodger with Kokanee Customs, Macks Wedding Ringe,or Needlefish on an 18 inch leader. Its seems like the closer your bait is to the Dodger the better it works.

NORTHERN PIKE: FAIR TO GOOD: Action on the West End is good with Stoll to Cross Creek seeing some nice fish. Trolling big Sticks like the F18 Rapala Pike Pattern in particular have seen success. Look to late morning through early afternoon as a good time for the bite.

SPECIAL NOTE: 11 Mile Marina is located at the North Shore in Eleven Mile State Park, Lake George Colorado. A CPW Park Pass is required on all vehicles entering the Park.  Any fees for Guide/Outfitter/Rental services do not include Park fees, CO fishing license or gratuities.
