TROUT:VERY GOOD: Hatch is over and it’s fish on! Bite is hot. Trolling can see non stop action. Many baits are working. Lots of Cuttbows 13 to 16 inches with many bigger ones making an appearance. The bigger fish seem to be hitting late morning into early afternoon. We are liking Needlefish, Rapala and Tas Devils. But as said lots of different baits producing. If you can’t catch you are doing something wrong. Stop in for assistance.

KOKANEE SALMON:FAIR TO GOOD: The bite had slowed but it is picking up again. There is always someone hitting it big. Fish can definitely be picky and can change what they like day to day. They are deep and shallow depends on the day. Duck Island to Deer has been good. Luhr Jensen Green Rainbow Pop Gear, Kokanee Kustoms Dodger or sling blade trailed by a Kokanee Kustoms tipped with a pink Gulp Flamingo maggot. Just got a bunch of new ones in and got the word that an impending new member of the family may keep Tyler away from lure production for awhile. His baits work!! Good Luck Tyler and congrats. BTW we challenge you to find pink Gulp Flamingo Maggots with garlic anywhere. Maybe Discount Tackle in Denver but not at your favorite Bass Pro, Scheels, Cabela’s, Sportsmens, Wal Mart etc. They work on the salmon. Just got some in we were out. Find them somewhere else bring in a receipt we will give you a free jar just for fun. You probably will be hard pressed to find a Kokanee Kustoms anywhere but here too.

NORTHERN PIKE: FAIR TO GOOD: Big Rapala’s catching big fish. Timing is also critical with mid morning and later afternoon good time to try. J11 jointed in Black/white or the F18 Pike pattern being good ones to try, Lots of action on the West end but we also like points East around rock drop offs.

ROAD: GOOD: They have chip and sealed the road from Lake George to CR/92 then dirt for about 2 miles then chip and seal to the General Store. The 2 miles of loose dirt and gravel was just graded and sprayed. It is as good as it will be right now but washboard conditions returning. The new chip and seal installed by mistake and not done as well as the CR90 section is seeing some wear due to the heavy logging equipment going in and out. Crickets out of Park County BOCC. For now the way in from Lake George is still way better than last year.

CR 23 to 59: FAIR: Recently graded. Should be good for the weekend

CR 90 to 92:FAIR TO POOR: Graded today

PIC # 1: Now those are two big salmon

PIC # 2: Night fishing is FUN!!

PIC # 3: She’s at it again. Caching big fish that is.
