TROUT: EXCELLENT: It’s a catchathon out on the boats particularly for those using lead core rigs. The exclusive Kastmasters doing great. Needlefish and Tas Devils also kicking it! Bite has been a little later in the day. Lots of Cuttbows 14 to 16 inches with occasional Lunkers. When its calm its a little more difficult a mild breeze helps a bunch.

KOKANEE SALMON: FAIR TO GOOD : It is clearly one day hot one day not. Timing and conditions make the big difference. Can’t catch them if you don’t try. Kokanee Kustoms, Macks Wedding Rings with Dodger. Go through your tackle box and try different things. Long line a pink Tas when its windy the fish come close to the surface.

NORTHERN PIKE: FAIR TO GOOD: Work the coves all around the lake. We like East of Howbert to Witchers. Most run West we head East. Time to work the Spinner baits. The 1st Gen we have are beginning to see action. Rapala and big sticks still producing. Big fish are far and few between but small to moderate size are showing up more frequently.
