AUGUST CRAWFISH BOIL RAISED OVER $1,000.00 FOR FISHING HAS NO BOUNDARIES. THANKS TO ALL THAT ATE AND HELPED OUT THE CAUSE.

TROUT: GOOD: Action slowed up quite a bit this week with a couple days being down right difficult. When it’s like that the tackle box comes in handy as you need to try all the colors and patterns. With calm hot conditions and a severe algae bloom the fish would not cooperate. But lower temps and clearer water has brought them back to life. Shore action good on Power Bait green and salmon peach. Trollers hitting Tas Devils but not the typical colors. Silver and Blue/Silver were hot Tasmanians of the week. Tube jigs are coming on. Stop in for the latest color patterns that are working.

SALMON: POOR: One here one there and a few big four year olds but if time is money you would go broke fishing for Kokanee lately

NORTHERN PIKE: EXCELLENT: The last two days has been Pike Heaven. The bite has been like you haven’t seen in a long time. Spinner Baits have been the ticket. White or Black go figure. Doesn’t mean it will be like that tomorrow but for now it’s PIKE ON!! Better get your self out here.

ROAD: GOOD: It’s as good as it has been all SUMMER better take advantage while it lasts! But the battle is not even close to being over. This road has to be paved no if ands or buts. With up to 400,000 cars a years traveling its insane to have a dirt road. The County and the State must come together and get it done. The County refused to sign for my certified service of process of NOTICE OF CLAIM as provided in the statute. SO we had a process server serve them personally. I am not giving up just because it’s drivable today. As i said the battle is still on.
