IT’S ABOUT THE CATCHING
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY 250!!!
WE LOVE THE USA!!
MARINA STORE HOURS: REGULAR SEASON HOURS MAY 15 TO SEPTEMBER 15 MONDAY-FRIDAY 8:00AM TO 6:00PM SATURDAY 7:00AM TO 7:00PM SUNDAY 7:00AM TO 6:00PM
CURRENT CONDITIONS: It has been windy, windy, windy. So much so it has put a crimp in boating time. Those that have the experience and big enough boat are finding the catching to be spectacular in the wind. Dry, Dry, Dry. We need rain.
AIR QUALITY: It has not been too bad here. Some patchy smoke from time to time but overall the wind is good for something.
WATER TEMP: 62
WATER FLOW: 97.7 CFS IN 69.9 CFS OUT
ALL PARK FACILITIES OPEN
CURRENT FIRE BAN PARK COUNTY; Propane grills allowed. Propane fire rings also allowed.
STOP IN FOR THE MOST UP TO DATE CATCHING INFO: Wear your 11 Mile Marina logo hat, shirt, etc get 10% storewide discount some restrictions apply
TROUT:VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT: Lots of fish being caught all around the lake. Shore and boat has been productive. Night time is the right time. Bait, hardware and flies. It’s a catchathon. Kastmasters sitting on top of the production ladder for hardware. Salmon Peach and any Power or Fire Bait with Garlic on the leader board for bait. Scuds, Nymphs and Ultra worm leading in the fly department
KOKANEE SALMON:FAIR TO GOOD: Action is pretty darn good for many. Lots of different baits seem to be working. One day pink is hot, the next orange, the next chartreuse. Be prepared to change up to see what they want that day. Timing is all over the clock. Somedays early is good other days its later in the afternoon. Many are suspended 25 to 45 feet in 60 plus feet of water. One thing for sure is this would qualify as one of the best salmon bites in years.
NORTHERN PIKE: FAIR: Mostly smaller fish being caught with the big ones interested but very cautious. Spinner baits coming on as well as big Mepps Muskie Killers. Bite times vary although wind is helpful not in the manner we have been getting hit with.
ROAD: GOOD: They have chip and sealed the road from Lake George to CR/92 then dirt for about 2 miles then chip and seal to the General Store. The 2 miles of loose dirt and gravel was just graded and sprayed. It is as good as it will be right now but washboard conditions returning. The new chip and seal installed by mistake and not done as well as the CR90 section is seeing some wear due to the heavy logging equipment going in and out. Crickets out of Park County BOCC. For now the way in from Lake George is still way better than last year.
CR 23 to 59: POOR: Recently graded but already washboard
CR 90 to 92:FAIR TO POOR: Graded last week already washboard.
