ELEVEN MILE STATE PARK IS IN THE SOUTH PARK NATIONAL HERITAGE AREA

TROUT: GOOD: Lots of fish being caught. Mostly Cuttbows running 14 to 17 inches. Larger fish showing up from shore and boat. Nightcrawler and mallow combo always a good bet. Anglers pitching lures and tubes from shore catching especially at sundown. Boaters on the troll hitting it with a variety of offerings. Those that like pop gear doing well. Those that don’t also doing well. Tas Devils have been hot.

SALMON: FAIR TO POOR: Nothing has changed much here. Right place right time. Have not seen anyone really score big numbers but for those that put in the time two or three are possible. Best action has been straight out from Marina in 60 feet of water. It’s a onezee twozee thing. But still nice to see.

NORTHERN PIKE: FAIR TO GOOD: Bigger fish getting a little more aggressive. Smaller ones still fill the void but there are anglers with more stories of “the one that got away” Tube jigs, Stick Baits and Bill’s Spinner Bait producing. Mid to late morning a good time. Shoreline from Hobert to Goose Island a good bet.

ROAD: FAIR TO POOR: The public pressure that has been applied must be getting to them. One can only hope. CR90 from Lake George to CR92 that was redone last week is still in fair condition. It is becoming dusty once again but washboard conditions have not happened yet. CR92 to the general store has seen major efforts that have created the best conditions so far this Summer. The section from Eleven Mile Village to General Store is receiving extra effort with an attempt to quell the the massive toxic dust clouds created by the disaster road. The road beyond the General Store into the Park has so far seen no work Everyone that lives here close to CR92 has had to endure weeks of the most horrific dust with no effort to mitigate. This is the first effort. 11 Mile Sports, Inc has filed its Notice Of Claim. We must wait 90 days before we can take any legal action. The County has been unaccountable for what it has done. They cry they have no money but don’t know where over $3M went. They have put our health at risk and cry they have no money. They have done nothing to search out and find funding mechanisms to solve their money problems. Hopefully this weekend will see less dust.
