WATER LEVEL GOOD A SMALL NEGATIVE FLOW FOR A MONTH HAS LOWERED THE LAKE BY A FOOT OR SO STILL TECHNICALLY FULL
FALL COLORS JUST BEGINNING TO APPEAR HERE.

WATER FLOW: 64.9 CFS IN 68.8 CFS OUT Losing a little everyday but lake still in great condition.

TROUT: GOOD: Trolling for boaters is hit and miss. One day is hot the next day is not. Tas Devils have been very productive as well as Needlefish. Pitching from the boat is also productive with Kastmasters and Tas Devils. Shore anglers doing well on lures in addition to bait. Timing has been all over the map. The Noon hour has been quite productive with sundown until it is dark still very good. Lots of bigger fish being caught. Woolly Buggers and egg patterns doing well on the fly.
KOKANEE SALMON:FAIR: A lot of folks have been catching four year olds from shore or boat on lures and jigs. Some trolling some not. Lots of fish stacked up at the inlet getting ready to move up river. Those working certain areas in the river are having fun catching them in mass.
NORTHERN PIKE: GOOD: Action consistent all around the lake. Spoons, tubes and big sticks have all been productive. Timing seems to be concentrated in early to late afternoon but some have been caught earlier. Can’t catch them if you don’t try. Time to hit the MILE!

ROAD CONDITIONS: All good on CR 90/92 until Park. CR 92 to CR 23 was graded last week. It’s fair but getting washboard fast. Lawsuit moving forward. We will not relent. Park County will be forced to fix the road once and for all.
